Behind the scenes, Universal Colours is dedicated to sharing stories, organising social events, and establishing an ambassador program to strengthen the community.
Ethical Production and High-Quality Fabrics
Universal Colours is committed to transparency and ethical practices in their clothing production. Their collaborative approach ensures that their core values align with those of the factories and mills they partner with, creating high-quality products with minimal environmental impact.
Most of their garments are produced at LTP in Lithuania, a bluesign® accredited factory known for its progressive and flexible approach to sportswear manufacturing. This comprehensive production control system limits the impact of textile manufacturing on human health and the environment. Additionally, select pieces and accessories are made in internationally audited factories in China and Taiwan, ensuring social and environmental good practices are upheld.
Universal Colours collaborates with mills across the globe, including M.I.T.I. S.P.A. in Italy, a leading manufacturer of stretch jersey fabrics, and Payen in France, the European leader in elastic yarns and stretch fabrics. By choosing fabrics manufactured within the same region as their factories, they minimise their carbon footprint.
